Today, Director of the Department of Civil Defense of EMERCOM of Russia, general-lieutenant Sergei Didenko paid a working visit to Kazan in order to introduce and develop the system of the hardware-software complex “Safe City”. Also, the head of the department was accompanied by Lead Director of JSC “Management Systems” Aleksei Ananyev, who is executive secretary of the interdepartmental commission.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 56 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 4 of them in the residential sector. 4 people were saved.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 4, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, ascertain – 1.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, carelessness when smoking – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 12 times. 1 person was saved.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 20 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, others – 1, safety provision at events in connection with the celebration of Epiphany – 18.

That's how much time did not have the team of the second squad of FFS SFS for RT to lead the standings in the team event of republican competitions on fire applied sport which was held in Almetyevsk. Total 9 teams of physical culture arrived.

This year, holiday events are held in 13 places in Zelenodolsky Municipal District, seven of which are specially equipped for Epiphany bathings. As the Head of Zelenodolsk Garrison of Fire Service Zufar Khaliullin commented, several structural units’ employees at once will be on duty during the coming day: 8th Squad of Federal Fire Service, GIMS, Office of Supervision, fire service departments of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On January 19, 2015, there was received a consultation on adverse weather events in the afternoon and evening of January 19, 2015 with the following content: “In the next hour, keeping to the end of the day and evening of January 19, 2015 it will be foggy in the Republic of Tatarstan in some places with a visibility of 500 meters or less”.

On January 18, there were no incidents at the places of day and night Epiphany bathing during the celebration of great Orthodox holiday, Epiphany. Special places for bathing were equipped on the territory of the republic. All emergency services’ duty was organized.

On January 17, 2015 at 12:00, there was received a report from GIMS Center of the Republic of Tatarstan about operation of the ice passage over the river Volga on the route Verkhny Uslon – Old Arakchino renewal. On January 16, 2015, there was also received a report from GIMS Center of the Republic of Tatarstan about operation of the ice passage over the river Volga on the route Zelenodolsk – Nizhnie Viazovye renewal. Carrying capacity of these passages is up to 3.5 tons.
