Mobile operational groups are taking actions in the Republic of Tatarstan. They are patrolling mass recreation places of citizens near waters, especially, on weekends and holidays. representatives of territorial departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of RT, authorities of municipal units (including settlements headmen), as well as representatives of territorial bodies of federal government executive bodies are involved in the patrolling on places.

Employees of Tatarstan Republican Department of VDPO in cooperation with rescuers of Search and Rescue Unit of the Office of Civil Defense of the Executive Committee of Kazan held a social action “Safe Summer” in Uritsky Park of Kazan. During the event not only more than fifty girls and boys that are on holiday at school camps of schools No. 99 and No. 133 learned the skills of safe behavior on the water and fire safety rules, but citizens that were walking that day in the park, too.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 91 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 42, singed meal – 2, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.

On June 29, 2015 at 0:30 A.M., there was received a report from a dispatcher of Kama Waterways on that a barge R-540 which was loaded by sand and gravel mixture of more than 1 000 tons capsized on the river Kama on the 1 632nd km of the waterway near the gardening association “Bytovik” of Tukayevsky District with the tug boat RT-356. The second shift captain born in 1985 and steersman-motorist born in 1980 had time to leave the barge when it was capsizing. Another shift captain – shift mechanic was in the captain’s cabin of the pushboat and had not time to exit.

Today, Open Competitions of Search and Rescue Crews of Searching Cynology Service of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia ended in Vysokogorsky District. for five days, 76 cynology crews have been competing both in individual and team events.

This was reported today by the First Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin at an unplanned meeting of the Commission on Prevention and Liquidation of Emergencies and Safety Provision of the Republic of Tatarstan, that was dedicated to taking additional measures on safety of citizens on water objects of the Republic of Tatarstan during the period of anomalous high temperature. At the moment, there are 173 unauthorized mass recreation places and just 37 equipped beaches registered in EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan. As mentioned by the Chief of the Department of People Safety on Water Objects of HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Main State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan on Small Vessels, Yuri Venediktov, that amount is obviously not enough.

The team of Nizhnekamsk Inspectorial Department of the Center of GIMS of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan became the winner of the VIII republican competitions on motor-boating types of sports. According to all of the stages of the competitions Nizhnekamsk inspectors showed the best result in overall and won the Challenge Cup. In 2016, the competitions on motor-boating types of sports among GIMS inspectors will take place in Nizhnekamsky District.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, 7 of them in residential sector. 1 person was injured.
