Holiday At the Water is Under Control of Operational Groups of EMERCOM, MIA and Local Administrations

Mobile operational groups are taking actions in the Republic of Tatarstan. They are patrolling mass recreation places of citizens near waters, especially, on weekends and holidays. representatives of territorial departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of RT, authorities of municipal units (including settlements headmen), as well as representatives of territorial bodies of federal government executive bodies are involved in the patrolling on places.

The increase of people deaths on the water took place with the beginning of the anomalous hot weather. From the beginning of the swimming season the number of victims reached 55 people in Tatarstan. The main causes of deaths on the water are swimming when in a drunken state and swimming in unequipped places.
