Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of June 28:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 91 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 42, singed meal – 2, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 1, arson – 2, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, defect in heating stove – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, defect in systems and mechanisms of a vehicle – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 13 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 13 times. Including: traffic accident – 1, searching operations on the water – 7, others – 4, door unblocking – 1.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
