On June 28, 2014, according to the "Office of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan", thunderstorms, a strong east and south-east wind with gusts up to 17 m/s are expected in some places of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan City at night, in the afternoon and evening; during thunderstorms 19-24 m/s squally gusts (up to 20 m/s in Kazan), hail and heavy rain locally.
On June 18, 2014 Nizhnekamsk Municipal District supervisory department of UND GU MES of RF in RT held fire safety studies at "Olimpiets" sports and health camp. Child athletes met a fire truck with a great joy, and when a firefighter offered to try firefighter’s wear there was no end of those who wished. The firefighter showed the children items of combat clothing and fire-rescue equipment. Then, there was a combat deployment of a fire hose; anyone could hold in it’s own hands this hose. The children smoothly switched to another subject that helps to put out fires – a fire extinguisher.

Fire departments of Federal fire service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 72 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 7, dry grass extinguishing – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.
The causes of fires are: careless handling of fire – 1, carelessness when smoking – 2, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, defect in devices and defect in heating stove and chimney – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 21 times. 10 persons were rescued.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1 times.
Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, safety provision on event – 1, injured transportation – 1, first aid – 1, patrolling mass recreation places on water objects – 2, trees sawing – 1, others – 6.
On May 1, rescuers of the Republic of Tatarstan spent a PR-action with a festival dedicated to 369th Anniversary of Russian fire protection at Victory Park of Kazan. In the presence of holiday guests, veterans of fire protection in accordance with the Presidential Decree of Russian Federation, Head of the Headquarters of MES of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan major-general of internal service Rafis Khabibullin handed a banner to “Federal Fire Service Educational Center in the Republic of Tatarstan” federal state educational institution of additional vocational education.
On June 23-24, fire-applied sports competitions were held at the training ground of the first detachment of the Federal Fire Service (1 OFPS) among divisions of the detachment, which was attended by 14 teams – one from each fire department. And the strictest judge – head of the detachment Alexey Alexeevich Shapovalov, who gives great importance to the development of professional sports in the detachment; he did not ignore any performance of his subordinates, who demonstrated good results.

With the beginning of the school holidays, when children are left alone without supervision of their parents and adults the fire prevention from childhood pranks theme become very important. Therefore, in the work days of school camps much emphasis is put on teaching children fire safety measures.

"YAN" Sanatorium of NGDU "Yamashneft" is under heavy fire protection. A few days ago, not only vacationers were convinced in this fact, but also representatives of the Headquarters of MES of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan that arrived from the capital with a control test.
