Firefighters Compete

On June 23-24, fire-applied sports competitions were held at the training ground of the first detachment of the Federal Fire Service (1 OFPS) among divisions of the detachment, which was attended by 14 teams – one from each fire department. And the strictest judge – head of the detachment Alexey Alexeevich Shapovalov, who gives great importance to the development of professional sports in the detachment; he did not ignore any performance of his subordinates, who demonstrated good results.

Leonid Sovetnikov from FD-92 distinguished himself in overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course (19.28 sec.). The best result in scaling ladder climbing the window of the fourth floor of the training tower was shown by FD-44 guard commander Marat Ziatdinov (17.86 sec.). The fastest (19.15 sec.) in three-knee ladder setup and climbing up the window on the third floor of the training tower were the participants of FD-47, Oleg Yudin – head of the department, and Stepan Zakharov – squad commander. Four people from each team participated in the fire relay. And there was no equal again to FD-47 firefighters who managed to reach the finish line in 1 minute 15 seconds. Victory was managed to be get by: Oleg Yudin – head of department, Evgeniy Ivachev –guard commander, Robert Dautov – squad leader and Stepan Zakharov – squad leader. Total team places were arranged as follows: FD-47 team took the first place, FD-92 team – the second, the third place was taken by FD-44. The winners and prize-men were awarded with diplomas and a cup.
