Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 41 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector. 2 people were rescued.
Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, arson – 1.

Employees of the separate post of the village of Kamsky lespromkhoz of Sabinsky squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan organized an excursion to their department for pupils of the 5th grade of Zverosovkhozovskaya Secondary School of Mamadyshsky Municipal District. Chief of the separate post and the workers prepared to answer unexpected and curious questions of the children.
The review of preparedness of services and freelance emergency rescue units to the carrying out activities for civil defense was held on the territory of kart racetrack in district center in Verkhneuslonsky Disrtict. Emergency rescue units and services equipped by people, apparatus, equipment, armament and personal protective equipment, gathered at the base.

Causes of the fires are following: carelessness when smoking – 1, children’s prank with fire – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, violation of fire safety rules during household appliance use – 1, arson – 2, careless handling of fire – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 8 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, lesson – 1, fire extinguishing – 3, others – 1.
Firefighters managed to protect 1140 sq. meters of the buildings that were close to the fire from its passage, and neighboring stores on the total area of 5580 sq. meters at the distance of 10-15 meters from the fire. Forces and means attracted to the liquidation: 262 people, 48 units of techniques, including 162people and 35 units of techniques from EMERCOM.
On October 13, at 15:55 a fire in one-storey pavilion JSC “Vitarus” was reported. As a result of the fire, there were no casualties and injuries. The trade pavilion was totally burned down. The area of the fire exceeded 2800 sq. meters. Forces and means attracted to the liquidation: 102 people and 22 units of techniques (including 92 people and 18 units of techniques from EMERCOM). The task force is headed by Acting Deputy Chief of HQ for SFS, colonel of inner service, Chanyshev Konstantin.
An educational lesson was held at the lesson of Life Safety at the secondary school of the city of Almetyevsk in the framework of the Month of Civil Defense. The children not only learned about the history and stages of the state’s civil defense development, but also became participants of practical trainings with a conditional command. They had an opportunity to train in dressing masks at “gases” command. After all, a training evacuation was announced. The evacuation was a success.
