As of October 18, 14:00 MSK, Sabinsky, Zelenodolsky, Kukmorsky, Baltasinsky districts of the republic remain without electricity. The electricity has been recovered in 23 settlements with the population of 5 712 people at the moment. 25 people and 4 units of techniques from EMERCOM, 47 brigades, 51 units of techniques, 105 people from JSC “Setevaya Company” participated in emergency and recovery operations.
As of October 18, 11:00 MSK, four districts of the republic remain disconnected from the power – Zelenodolsky, Sabinsky, Atninsky and Kukmorsky. 2 835 houses with the population of 12 165 people remain with no electricity, including 3 867 children and 27 objects of social importance. 23 people and 4 units of techniques from EMERCOM, 67 brigades, more than 237 people from JSC “Setevaya Company” participate in emergency and recovery operations.

On October 16, 2014, the loss of a fisherman on the boat born in 1976, the resident of the village of Uva of the Udmurt Republic, on Izh River near the village of Kichketan of Agryzsky District. MVD employees , firefighters of FD-101 FPS for RT, volunteers and rescuers of Zonal Search and Rescue Squad number 6 from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny connected for the search. Totally, 19 people and 8 units of techniques were involved in the search. The lost man was found the next day. He did not need medical care.
A post of radiation and chemical observations was deployed in the framework of Month of Civil Defence in Rybno-Slobodskoy District on the basis of the branch of FBUZ “Hygiene and Epidemiology Centre of Laishevsky, Pestrchinsky and Rybno-Slobodskoy Districts” in the form of demonstrative lessons with commanders of freelance emergency rescue units of Rybno-Slobodskoy Municipal District. In general, the link of radiation and chemical observations showed good preparedness and knowledge during the direct implementation of given tasks.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.
Causes of the fires are following: violation of fire safety rules during thermal generating units and devices use – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, arson – 1, careless handling of fire – 2.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 15 times.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 8 times. Including: unblocking – 6, searching operations on the water – 1, others – 1.
Today, employees of EMERCOM checked preparedness of freelance emergency rescue units of MUP PATP-2 to assigned actions in case of emergency situations. Mobile repair and recover group created on the basis of this transport company, demonstrated the preparedness of necessary apparatus and practical actions of the staff during troubleshooting automotive techniques in the field in case of an emergency.

Educational practical and open lessons were held in educational institutions of Leninogorsk in the framework of Month of civil defense. They aimed at familiarizing children with the system of civil defense. During the lessons children worked out personal protection equipment use rules and first medical aid provision in practice.
