The rescue operation on getting out 13 fishermen of a torn off ice on river Kama in the area of Petrovsky island near Tashkirmen settlement of Laishevsky District came to an end at 12:20. No fisherman was injured. Rescuers of ZPSO number 2 and Kazan PSO were directed to the scene. A report about that floe broke away with 13 people on river Kama in the area of Petrovsky island near Tashkirmen settlement of Laishevsky District. On November 20, 2014 the navigation on the rivers of the republic will be officially closed completely. That was told by Chief State Inspector of RT for Small Vessels Ilham Nasybullin in the Cabinet of Ministers at the briefing, dedicated to safety issues at the waters in the winter period.

Another two lovers of extreme fishing were saved not far from the settlement Isakovo last Saturday. They could not reach the shore on a rubber boat. When the boat was on the move it was holed on the sharp edges of ice fragments. Until the boat sank, the fishermen had to turn round and get back to an island. But then, they could not get to the “big” land without the help of rescuers. They called “112”.
On November 17, memorial activities were held at the 2nd terminal of International Airport “Kazan”. They were dedicated to the anniversary of Boeing 737 Crash flight “Moscow-Kazan”, where 50 people died – 44 passengers and 6 crew members. To provide psychological support to participants of the mourning at the memorial, psychologists of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan were on duty, as well as 15 psychologists of Ministry of Health of RT and Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Services of the Republic of Tatarstan.
