Rescue Operation in Laishevsky District is Over. All Fishermen Were Safely Brought Ashore

The rescue operation on getting out 13 fishermen of a torn off ice on river Kama in the area of Petrovsky island near Tashkirmen settlement of Laishevsky District came to an end at 12:20. No fisherman was injured. Rescuers of ZPSO number 2 and Kazan PSO were directed to the scene. PRPSO of EMERCOM of Russia from the separate temporary round the clock post “Tashkirmen” move on ice by “KHIVUS-10” hovercraft and snowmobiles.

At 12:20 MSK all fishermen were safely evacuated to the shore by employees of the separate post “Tashkirmen”. MI-8 helicopter of Aviation rescue center of EMERCOM of Russia flew to the scene. Forces and means attracted to the liquidation, including from EMERCOM:

staff 17 people (11 of them from EMERCOM), 6 units of techniques (4 vehicles, 2 boats, 1 МI-8 МТV helicopter from EMERCOM).
