Small Vessels Navigation on the Waters of the Republic of Tatarstan is Over Today

On November 20, 2014 the navigation on the rivers of the republic will be officially closed completely. That was told by Chief State Inspector of RT for Small Vessels Ilham Nasybullin in the Cabinet of Ministers at the briefing, dedicated to safety issues at the waters in the winter period.

Since the beginning of the period of ice cover (October 26 to November 14) on the water objects of the Republic of Tatarstan 9 people have already died, seven of them fell through the ice. Since the beginning of the year, on the waters of the Republic of Tatarstan totally 149 accidents have been registered (for the same period of the last year – 174), 133 people have died (for the same period of the last year – 178), 56 people have been saved (for the same period of the last year – 21).
