Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 83 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 13, false alarms – 34, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, burnt meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 22, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, residential sector – 3, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1, various types of property – 3.

The festive event for veterans of Naberezhnye Chelny Garrison if Fire Service was organized by the leadership of 15th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan. By tradition, the holiday was held in the honor of the USSR's Day of Fire Service, which was celebrated on April 17. Also there were invited special guests and the staff of Chelny Garrison of Fire Service. All of the participants were congratulated with their professional holiday by the Head of the Squad, Rustam Yumagulov.

...Feeling of irrevocable emptiness, the absence of life brought terror. People leaving their homes and yards in a hurry, left a kind of still life of everyday objects as if they were back in a minute and would continue their affairs. Somewhere there was a doll on the bench, a shovel in the middle of an unfinished ridge, and clothes that didn’t hung after washing, and even dishes arranged by pre-dinner – everything was lying as was, just there were no people.

A complex of preventive measures on reduction of risks of flooding is implemented on the territory of the region taking into account the weather conditions forecast. The situation is complicated by two ice jams, the length of which is measured in tens of kilometers. Two ice-breakers operate for their destruction, and demolition teams where the depth does not allow. Since the beginning of the flood protection works in Vologda Oblast there have been committed 32 underminings of the ice on eight sites; throughout the day, another 8 tons of explosives will come to the region. Total of 396 people and 122 units of equipment, 38 boats were attracted to the elimination of the flood consequences.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, including garden houses – 2.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 33, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, burnt meal – 4, cooperation with other services – 18. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, including garden houses – 1, residential sector – 3, various types of property – 1, outhouses – 2.

‘Swimming of small vessels on navigable waters is permitted since the opening of navigation to its closure, and on non-navigable ones – after the recession of flood water prior to freeze-up’, these are the requirements of paragraph 2.2 of the Rules of use of water bodies for sailing on small vessels in the Republic of Tatarstan approved by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan from October 15, 2007 No. 562. Sailing on small vessels is going to be allowed on the Volga river on April 22, and on the river Kama from April 25.
