Semashkin Andrey Viktorovich, the guard chief of FD-47 OFPS-1, is four-time winner of All-Russian Professional Skills Competition (2010, 2011, 2015, 2016), five-time champion of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia and six-time champion of the Republic of Tatarstan in professional skills competition. He chose the profession of a firefighter-rescuer in 1994 and not only remains faithful to it to this day, but also develops and achieves new heights in professional training.

Incidents as of November 30:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 45 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires, including residential sector – 3, various types of property – 3, hay – 1, garden houses – 1, vehicles – 1. 31 people were rescued.

As a result of the fire in Kazan school No. 32, none of students were injured.

At 1.23 P.M. of November 30, 2016, there was received report on burning in the school. By the time first fire department arrived evacuation of children and personnel was in process. There was smoke in the building. Furniture was burning on the first floor on the area of 15 sq. meters. Forces of first fire departments were sent for rescuing people, who remained inside. There were 497 people in the building at the moment of fire.

Today, the republican forum of “OSVOD RT” regional social organization gathered representatives of OSVOD departments and representatives of district departments of Public Board under EMERCOM RT to discuss the issue of people’s safety provision on water objects and outline main directions of the work of recently created department of OSVOD in districts. It was attended by the Deputy Minister of Civil Defense and Emergencies of RT, Nikolai Surzhko, the representative of Public Chamber of RT, Yelena Muravyova, the Main State Inspector of RT for small vessels, Yuri Venediktov and the Chairman of voluntary fire association, Alik Nazmutdinov.

During preventive action, which was held together with firefighters of FD-71 OFPS-7, police employees, the administration of Sovetsky District and representative of “Derbyshky” management company, employees of the supervisory affairs and preventive work department of Sovetsky District of the city of Kazan gave fire preventive memos and reminded residents of a house about keeping fire safety rules at home. The action was organized within “Zhilische-2016” preventive operation.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 31 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 9, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including residential sector – 1, garden houses – 1. 171 heads of cattle were rescued.

Employees of the 15th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan, GIMS inspectors of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny together with the administrative commission under Naberezhnye Chelny city administration with involvement of city media held a raid at places of fishing on lower tail water of Nizhnekamsk HPP. The main aim of the raid is prevention against accidents and fishermen dying on water objects during freezing-over.

Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 13, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 8, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires, including outhouses – 5, vehicles – 4. 1 person was injured.

Within the year of fire service in the system of EMERCOM of Russia, employees of republican department of All-Russian Volunteer Fire Association together with the Federation of Applied Fire Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan organized for schoolchildren of the city of Kazan sports competitions for Kazan Cup on Applied Fire Sports. Nearly 200 children from 25 schools of Kazan competed in fire relay and climbing up hook ladder to the window of the second floor. Juniors were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of TRO VDPO RT, Gabdelkhai Valiullin.
