Employees of the Center of GIMS of EMERCOM RF for RT organized an open day for the first and fourth course students of the “Industrial and Ecological Safety” Department of KNRTU. Within the lesson, students studied ways of self-rescuing and rescuing of a person who fell down through the ice. Firstly, they followed to the classroom for introductory conversation. They had to go outside to watch practical show of rescue actions.

Incidents as of February 13:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 42 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires, including resident sector – 2, outhouses – 2, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 2. 1 person died.

At night and in the afternoon on February 14 the followings are awaited on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan: snowstorm with deterioration of visibility to 500-1,000 meters and less; snowing, locally strong snowing in the morning and afternoon; strong South-West, South wind with gusts up to 17-22 m/s (in Kazan to 17 m/s); snowdrift on roads.

On February 12, 2017 at 5.25 P.M. there was received a report from a man about that his friend had strayed in the field during a snowmobile drive. As later it was ascertained, a Kazan citizen was in a snowmobile drive and made his mind to pass over the ravine of Shish river, as a result his snowmobile stuck. He could not pull through himself, that is why he made his way to the nearest settlement for support. Wandering 4 hours, he never achieved a settlement. After that he decided to call his friend’s phone, who addressed to rescuers. At 6.50 P.M., the strayed man was found.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires, including resident sector – 5, outhouses – 5.

Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 13, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including resident sector – 1, outhouses – 4, various types of property – 2.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 43 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires, including resident sector – 4, outhouses – 3, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1. 2 people died, 1 person was injured.

The office of supervisory affairs and preventive work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan worries about the developed situation with fires on the republic’ territory. Since the Beginning of the Year, there were 304 which killed 19 people, injured 26 people on the territory of the republic. Moreover, this year, increasing five more injured children in fires was registered (from 1 to 6 children).

The highest standard awards to EMERCOM RT employees were approved by the order of the Sports Ministry of the Russian Federation. State employees of the emergency department showed their physical preparedness in six test of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” and achieved high sport results in three age groups.

In order of prevention and reducing the amount of fires in residential sector, and people’s death in them, workers of the separate post on the protection of the village of Russkoe Makulovo of Apastovo squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan together with an engineer of fire safety of Apastovo squad of fire service examined yards in the settlement of Russkoe Makulovo of Verkhny Uslon Municipal District.
