Regional Championship of the Republic of Tatarstan “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) 2017 on “Rescue Works” Purview will pass from January 31 until February 3 in the state autonomous professional educational institution “Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense” with the participation of 4 teams. Within the preparation to the championship, on the eve, students of the college held competitions on rescue all-around, according to which results the strongest were selected for the participation in the championship of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 41 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 20, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires, including residential sector – 5. 4 people were rescued.

On January 26, 2017 at 0.01 A.M., there was received report about a fire in the building of “The House of Children’s Art” facility which is located in the village of Staroe Drozhzhanoe. In 3 minutes after the signal was received, fire departments arrived at the site, and at 0.08 A.M. the fire was totally eliminated. As a result of firefighting departments’ actions the fire’s area estimated just 2 sq. meters. Preliminary cause of the fire is violation of electric equipment use rules.

At night on January 24, voluntary firefighters saved a house from fire in Kamskoe Ustye District in Kuybyshevsky Zaton town. One more private bathhouse was extinguished in the village of Biyurgan on Tukay District.

Forces and means of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan participated in complex drill during which issues of respond of territorial bodies of EMERCOM of Russia, airmobile crews and search and rescue departments were studied with bodies of management of territorial and functional subsystems of RSChS of the Central and Volga Regions during threat of emergency situation of natural and manmade kind. 204 people and 29 vehicles, including 156 people and 17 vehicles from EMERCOM of Russia were involved during the drills.

On January 25-26, 28-29, 2017, air temperature jump with decreasing to -10…-15 degrees is expected on the territory of the Central Region. It contributes to increasing manmade fires, traffic accidents, accidents in housing systems, as well as, growing cases of chilblain.

On January 24, a working meeting of the leadership of the 15th squad in the person of Rustam Yumagulov with chairmen of boards of veterans of district departments took place in Kamskie Polyany in order to discuss work results for 2016 and outline work directions of the board of veterans for the current year.
