The work done in 2016 of employees of Naberezhnye Chelny fire and rescue garrison was summed up in Naberezhnye Chelny. Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief of the Office of Supervision and Preventive Work, Colonel of inner service, Sergey Sergeev, marked that the squad chief and staff conducted huge systematic work, achieved fair results in the service and implemented practically all set tasks for 2016.

Incidents as of January 31:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 9, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 11 fires, including resident sector – 8, outhouses – 3. 1 person died, 1 person was injured, 1 person was rescued.

During the opening ceremony, the college headmaster, Tatyana Adayeva, marked that the competitions were held in 100th anniversary of Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense, and that it was a great honor for the college to enter the history of WorldSkill movement’s development exactly in the jubilee year. Nikolay Surzhko gave the college leadership a mannequin for studies on pulmonary and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as a gift from EMERCOM RT. Also, Deputy Chief of the Executive Committee of Tetyushi Municipal District, Albert Gerasimov, thanked republican EMERCOM for support and education of college cadets, competition participants. 4 teams started up a fight for victory and right to further participation in WorldSkills Russia 2017 competitions.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires, including garden houses – 1, construction van – 1.

The wild bird appeared on January 29 on one of courtyards in the city of Leninogorsk. Residents saw the owl which could not take off because of its broken wing, and reported to the single duty dispatch service of the district. Rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 7 arrived to help the injured owl. Rescuers needed 20 minutes to carefully catch the owl by the hands protected with thick gloves. The bird rode to the squad building calmly on the hands of its savior. A veterinarian was waiting it there.

On January 27, 5 teams of higher education institutions of the capital of Tatarstan gathered in the base of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The first stage passed as a test on questions of first aid and psychological support provision. Those teams which took the first and second places on the first stage will step to the next stage. Further in March this year, Kazan students will demonstrate psychological support and first aid provision in practice, defending the honor of Tatarstan among regions of the Central Regional Central.

At 00.40 P.M. on January 27, there was received report about that three people, including two children, were poisoned preliminarily by carbon monoxide in the city of Kazan. All of them were hospitalized. The accident’s cause is being ascertained.

On January 26, a complex drill with management bodies, organizations and enterprises of Aznakayevo Municipal District on the theme “Actions of management bodies and forces of Aznakayevo unit of territorial subsystem of prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan during the threat and occurrence of emergency situations”. Generally, the leading stuff and forces and means of Aznakayevo unit of territorial subsystem managed to accomplish tasks “good”.
