All-Russian assembly on summing up the work of joint state system of prevention and elimination of emergency situations, the implementation of activities of civil defense in 2016 and setting tasks for 2017 began functioning in Krasnogorsk. The event was attended by representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Assembly, Security Council of RF, federal bodies of the executive authorities, members of the Government Commission on Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety Provision, heads of subjects of the Russian Federation, leading staff of the central office of EMERCOM of Russia and territorial bodies of EMERCOM of Russia. Total of about 1,000 participants.

Deputy Head of EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Stepanov, came out with a report about elaboration of new ways of development and improvement of RSChS, as well as increasing the readiness of civil defense at the workshop during All-Russian assembly. He marked the work of territorial subsystems of RSChS of subjects of the Russian Federation done last year for the better. It is expressed in significant increasing of the readiness to implement activities on prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fires extinguishing. He mentioned Moscow Oblast and the Republic of Tatarstan among the best according to results of 2016.

136 departures to the liquidation of traffic accident consequences were made by Zelenodolsk firefighters last year. They rescued 9 people. All of these was possible thanks to firefighters’ professional training. Their skills level is assessed annually in competitions on rescue works.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 16, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 14 fires, including resident sector – 8. 1 person was injured. 1 person died.

The line and song review among students of 7-11 grades took place in cadet school named after the hero of the Soviet Union, Nikita Kaymanov, the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, before the celebration of the Homeland’s Defender Day. The strict jury assessed the outfit, line bearing, salute, line techniques, stepping with march-past and commander’s actions. The review’s winners were awarded with team cups and diplomas.

The “round table” with representatives of Kazan clergy and employees of the republican emergency department took place in the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. There was discussed the issue of tutorship, strengthening the role veteran organizations in the EMERCOM system, including involvement of clergy representatives in the field of moral and spiritual education of young employees, passing professional experience of mutual relations in the collective.

The festival aimed to foster the sense of patriotism by modern examples of heroism in growing generation, popularize the professions of rescuer and firefighter, form the culture of safety amidst children and youth, propagandize and popularize healthy living. The competition is attended by students of educational institutions at the age from 7 to 18. Moreover, the competition supposes both individual, and team participation.

Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 6, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires, including resident sector – 2, outhouses – 4, vehicles – 1, various types of property – 1. 1 person was injured. 3 people were saved.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 38 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires, including resident sector – 3, outhouses – 2, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1, construction van – 1.

In connection with negative weather conditions, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan placed mobile centers of people informing and warning on the road M-7. One of the centers is located on 830 km of the road M-7 from Kazan, and the second center on 1,041 km of the road Moscow-Ufa on the territory of the municipal division of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. The screens of those centers show information for drivers about the situation on roads and rules of behavior in case of an accident or emergency situation.
