Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 38 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including resident sector – 4. 2 people died, 1 person was injured.

In Aznakayevo, residents of four-storeyed house called rescuers and the ambulance. Employees of fire and rescue department No. 24 fasted a three-section ladder to the house to evacuate children. Guard Chief of FD-84, Lenar Maynulov, personally rescued boys of 15 and 10 years-old. At 0.30 A.M., firefighters spotted a 40-year-old woman, the mother of those children, in the kitchen by a table, but despite the undertaken measures of medics, she died. The fire was localized at 0.34 A.M., the open fire was liquidated at 0.45 A.M. According to preliminary data, the fire’s cause was the violation of technical equipment use rules.

Workers of gas service and EMERCOM employees hold preventive tests of gasified apartment houses in Zelenodolsk. The main aim of these raids is to prevent emergency situations, fires during gas equipment use. In their turn, not only gas equipment but also the condition of furnaces, electric wire and heating devices come upon the field of view of the 8th squad of federal fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan and inspectors of supervisory affairs.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires, including resident sector – 2, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1. 1 person died, 2 people were injured.

To date, within implementation of preventive work in settlements, workers of the separate post on the protection of the village of Verkhny Timerlek of Chistopol squad of fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan covered all living places of socially unadapted citizen categories, which are located in preventive service zone of this departments.

Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including resident sector – 5, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1.

In Connections with Cyclone Passage and Decree of the Chief of HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Two Mobile Heating Centers Were Deployed in the Republic:

- Almetyevsk Municipal District, 250 km of road R239;

- Yelabuga Municipal District, 1 006 km of road M-7.

Resonant cases of emergency accidents in various regions of Russia, connected with explosions of household gas in residential buildings, became another reason for holding a meeting of the Commission on Emergency Situations and Fire Safety Provision of Zelenodolsk District. According to the data of communal organizations, there are 42 apartment houses which heated by stoves with gas-burners. When the fact of faulty equipment use is revealed, workers of gas service will temporarily pause gas supplement until the violation will be completely eliminated, and will immediately inform State Housing Inspectorate. The second point of the discussion was the issue of holding fire prevention work in residential fund.

Today, firefighters of fire and rescue department No. 5 OFPS-7 for RT examined fire hydrants condition in the village of Severny. As firefighters said, they found out more than 350 fire hydrants buried in snow just in Kazan. During examinations held be fire departments of the republic, more than a thousand buried hydrants and more than a hundred snowbound accesses to water towers and water bodies were found in the countryside of the republic. Firefighters, addressing to directors of enterprises, organizations and institutions of our republic, recommend to pay attention to the condition of anti-fire water supply sources and take measures on fixing malfunctions in time.
