Today after noon, the Minister of Russian Federation on civil defense, emergency situations and natural phenomena results liquidation, Vladimir Puchkov, visited the city of Innopolis, where he participated in the opening of the fire and rescue department No. 8. Vladimir Puchkov was accompanied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, other officials, including the Head of the Administration of Verkhny Uslon Municipal District, Marat Ziatdinov and the Mayor of Innopolis, Ruslan Shagaleev.

The Head of EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Puchkov, visited Kazan Helicopters Plant. The enterprise’s director, Vadim Ligay, held an excursion for the federal minister across the factory and acquainted with helicopter models which may be interesting for rescuers. As well, the Head of EMERCOM of Russia was met by the CEO of “Russian Helicopters” holding, Andrey Boginsky. Helicopters of “Ansat” series aroused particular interest of Vladimir Puchkov and he expresses hope for fruitful cooperation with the aviation enterprise.

Today, the Minister of Russian Federation on civil defense, emergency situations and natural phenomena results liquidation, Vladimir Puchkov, visited manufacturing facilities of JSC ‘Kazanorgsintez’ in Kazan. The Head of EMERCOM of Russia examined manufacturing facilities, familiarized with some technological processes of one of the largest petrochemical productions of Russia. The enterprise includes seven factories. Vladimir Puchkov accompanied by the Prime-Minister of RT, Aleksey Pesoshin, and other officials visited the fire and rescue department No. 43 which protects the enterprise. He inspected working rooms, familiarized with the technique, and talked to the staff.

That was reported today by the Minister if EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Puchkov, according to conclusions of the exit session of the Governmental Commission of the Russian Federation on Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations and Providing Fire Safety which took place in Kazan. One of the main issues discussed at the Commission is the readiness of forces and means to provide safety of 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup matches. The Head of EMERCOM of Russia was met by the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, at the ‘Kazan’ international airport, the Head of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin, and other officials. The EMERCOM delegation and the Head of Tatarstan went from the airport to the ‘Kazan Arena’ football stadium.

Today, the Minister of Russian Federation on civil defense, emergency situations and natural phenomena results liquidation, Vladimir Puchkov, within his work trip to the Republic of Tatarstan visited the island village of Sviyazhsk and a Fire Department that protects this historical and architectural museum-reserve from fire. The head of EMERCOM of Russia was accompanied by the Prime-Minister of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pesoshin.

Incidents as of April 17:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 65 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 24. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 4, garden houses – 1.

Employees of the 3rd guard of the fire and rescue department No. 55 of the 15th squad were awarded with EMERCOM of Russia medals “For Courage in Fire” in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Nearly a year ago, they had to demonstrate their courage and high skills during extinguishing of a difficult fire on railway tank with combustible lubricating material. Thanks to brave firefighters, there was a success in preventing against inevitable explosion of other tanks loaded with oil products.

Including garbage extinguishing – 15, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 6, cooperation with other services – 25. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including residential sector – 3, outhouses – 4.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 56 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 9, cooperation with other services – 18. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including residential sector – 3.

Before the bright holiday of Easter, Zelenodolsk firefighters held a Subbotnik on their territory. Employees of the 8th squad of federal fire service took out trash in the forest park zone which is located behind the building of internal affairs building. Firefighters conduct such events systematically. The employees will clear up territories in the city and around fire departments not only on Saturdays, but also on Wednesdays.
