Before the day of fire service in Novosheshminsk fire and rescue department № 124 there was held an open day, which was attended by students of Novosheshminsk secondary school. The children saw fire and rescue equipment and fire-fighting devices firsthand, and heard about the difficult fire service.

Incidents as of April 22:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires: apartment buildings – 1, private houses – 3, saunas – 1, outhouses – 1, other objects – 3.
According to the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of RT in the next 1-3 hours, with preservation during the day and evening on April 22, 2018, very strong southern wind with gusts up to 20-25 m/s is expected in the eastern regions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Including garbage extinguishing – 22, false alarms – 57, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: apartment buildings – 2, private houses – 1, vehicles – 1, outhouses – 1, other objects – 2.
On April 19, the exhibition of fire and rescue equipment and fire technical armaments took place at the Maidan in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. About 22 units of equipment, which was engaged in saving lives of people, were available for 3 hours to all comers. EMERCOM employees stayed on duty next to every car to tell about how technique works, to help children to see unique cars from the inside.
On the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan 6 household plots in 1 settlement remain flooded. In 6 municipal districts flooded 5 low bridges and 1 section of dirt road are flooded; 1 section of the road was partially washed out.
On the day of the Soviet fire service the safety day for preschoolers passed in the Pestretsy Municipal District. A senior inspector of the department of supervision and preventive work visited the 'Kolokolchik' Pestretsy kindergarten № 1.
