Incidents as of July 23:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, abandoned buildings – 1, false alarms – 14, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 8, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 13 fires: residential sector – 3, bathhouses – 2, outhouses – 3, garden houses – 1, open air storage – 1, vehicles – 2, unused buildings – 1. 2 persons were injured, 3 person were rescued.

Competitions were conducted with the purpose of increasing the level of tactical and physical training, skills of fire service workers, popularization of the profession of a firefighter, exchange of experience, studying ways and methods of saving people. 13 fire-fighting units took part in them. Teams competed in the quickness of putting on combat clothing, defeating the target in the window of the fourth floor of the training tower, rescuing the victim and defeating dropped targets.

Including garbage extinguishing – 9, false alarms – 20, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires: residential sector – 4, bathhouses – 2, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1.

Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 14, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, other objects – 1.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 48 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 17, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2.

On April 11, 1958, the Tatar Republican Voluntary Fire Society was established. VDPO plays an important role in the security system, solving the tasks of forming public consciousness and civic position of the population in the field of fire safety, involving citizens in preventing and extinguishing fires. At the same time, the association is one of the largest and most extensive production and supply chains of fire-fighting products.

In order to ensure the safety of people's lives during the mass events, at certain dates, a ban will be imposed on the use of small boats, sailing, pleasure boats, sports vessels, including jet skis, kayaks, rowing boats, on the Kazanka River from the Kremlin dam to the Millennium Bridge, on the site of the river Kazanka from the Kirov dam to the intersection of Chuikov st. and Gavrilov st.

Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 11, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: bathhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, constructing buildings – 1, outhouses – 2, private houses – 2.

Today, the final of the republican review contest 'The Best Fire Department of the Federal Fire Service in the Republic of Tatarstan' was held. To this review contest, 19 best firefighters arrived to Kazan from all units of the federal fire service of the republic. The winner of the republican contest will pass to the regional stage. The contest program includes both power, applied fire exercises, 1 km cross, and questions on testing theoretical knowledge. 

In the afternoon on July 19, on Zainsk reservoir, two teenagers on an inflatable mattress were blown away by the wind and the current from the shore. OSVOD rescuers together with fishermen 600 meters away from the shore found and rescued two sixteen-year-old teenagers. They were unaccompanied by their parents. A protocol of an administrative offense will be drawn up against the parents.
