Hundreds of Kazan residents came to the interactive site in Gorky-Ometyevo forest on July 18, organized by the Directorate of Parks and Squares in conjunction with Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison within the  'Yasno' city summer program and the Year of Safety Culture in EMERCOM of Russia. On the interactive site of the forest park there was an exhibition of fire-fighting equipment and equipment of EMERCOM units. Everyone could become a real fire-fighter and try to extinguish a conditional fire.

July 18, the Day of the State Fire Supervision of EMERCOM of Russia. Head of the Department for Supervisory Activities and Preventive Work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of Internal Service, Sergey Sergeev, addressed to the staff with congratulations, wishing good health, family well-being, success in very important activity to protect citizens of our republic from the threat of fires.

The competition is spent annually and has the federal status. The program of the contest includes review, power, fire-applied exercises, 1 km cross, as well as testing of theoretical knowledge. The winner was the guard commander of FRD-68 of the 7th detachment in Kazan, Nikita Semashkin.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 67 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 11, abandoned building – 1, false alarms – 28, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 11, other – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 5, outhouses – 2. 3 persons died, 1 person was injured.

In Aznakayevo, in the 87th fire and rescue department, the republican competitions among units of the gas and smoke protection service of departments of the Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan were completed. The best republican teams representing the 14 most combat-ready and mobile units of fire and rescue units of city garrisons of the fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the struggle for the main prize. The competitions were held in 3 stages: heat and smoke chamber, overcoming of obstacles 'Tunnel', extinguishing of conditional fire. The first place was taken by the hosts of the competitions, the second and third places were taken by Naberezhnye Chelny (FRD-72) and Nizhnekamsk (FRD-62).

On July 17, an apartment burned in Bugulma. The door had to be opened with the help of a gasoline cutter, at the same time the firefighters climbed the auto-ladders through the balcony. The room was very smoky. The furniture burned on the balcony and in the hall. During the fire extinguishing, the bodies of a woman who was born in 1956 and girls who was born in 2011 were discovered. At the time of the fire, the girl was asleep. A man who was born in 1981 laid next to her bed on the floor with signs of life. According to preliminary information, the fire occurred because of a cigarette.

Including garbage extinguishing – 1, abandoned building – 1, false alarms – 20, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: bathhouses – 1, garden houses – 1, garages – 1. 1 person died.

This time, young soldiers of the military-patriotic camp 'Rastim Patriotov' came to visit 122th fire and rescue department of the city of Menzelinsk. The children saw the technical equipment of a fire truck and tried on military clothing, got acquainted with the history of the creation of the fire department, the work of a joint duty dispatch service and, of course, they were told about the rules of fire safety.

On July 14 in the River Kama a Man Who Swam to the Opposite Shore Was Sinking A joint patrol group in just two minutes discovered and saved the exhausted man in a state of intoxication who was born in 1989 . This place is not equipped for swimming. The drunken resident of Nizhnekamsk was handed over to police officers.
