From October 1 to 3 in the Russian Federation will be held the annual All-Russian training on civil defense. The main purpose of the training is to work out the issues of organizing management during the implementation of measures for civil defense, prevention and liquidation of emergencies and fires. For everyone, the Training and Methodological Center for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as its branches in cities of Tatarstan will open its doors.

In honor of the Day of Older Persons, the leadership of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Council of Veterans honors their oldest employees. Special attention was given to a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and fire service, Mikhail Dolgov. Representatives of the Office for Supervision and Preventive Work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan visited the 91-year-old pensioner with congratulations and gifts.  

Incidents as of September 30:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 16, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires: residential sector – 3, outhouses – 1, bathhouses – 3, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1. 1 person was rescued, 1 person was injured.

Employees of Zelenodolsk Fire and Rescue Garrison organized a fire safety class for students of all primary classes of the secondary school No. 4, Zelenodolsk. With the children they had a small talk about the rules of fire safety, they showed the combat equipment of fire fighters and explained its purpose. Those who wished could even try the equipment on.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 18, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1, various types of property – 2. 1 person died, 1 person was injured.

According to the information of the Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan on September 29, 2018, at night and in the afternoon in the Republic of Tatarstan, a strong southwesterly and western wind is expected to gust up to 15-20 m/s, at night and in the morning in places up to 24 m/s (in Kazan up to 23 m/s).

GIMS inspectors note that there have been frequent tragedies on water with fishermen who went fishing on small boats without lifejackets in the republic. Also, the GIMS staff advise the fishermen not to delay the technical examination of their small size vessels, which must be carried out every 5 years.

From October 1 to 3 in the Russian Federation, there will be the annual All-Russian training on civil defense. During the training, the readiness of the command and control agencies of the civil defense of all levels will be tested. It is also planned to carry out measures to protect the population from emergencies at socially significant facilities and facilities with a massive stay of people in cities and regions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, dry grass – 1, abandoned building – 1, false alarms – 15, short circuit – 6, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 1.

Within the the All-Russian staff training for civil defense on October 1 and 2, 2018, regional and local voice warning systems will be tested in the Republic of Tatarstan, including the comprehensive system for emergency alarm of people about the threat of occurrence or happening of emergencies. The Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan asks residents and guests of the Republic of Tatarstan to remain calm and listen attentively to the speech messages.
