Incidents as of October 18:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 82 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 34, short circuit – 5, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 14, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 3, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 1, other – 1, vehicles – 1.

In the city of Zelenodolsk there was a drawdown of the foundation blocks of the 6th entrance of an apartment building at 1a, Frunze st. On this issue, the head of the Executive Committee of Zelenodolsk municipal district held a meeting of the Commision on Emergencies and Fire Safety. All residents of the 6th entrance (28 people) are settled by relatives. There is no need for temporary accomodation places. Repair works are underway.

In the sports arena of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, qualifying competitions for the Kazan championship in applied fire sports continue. Schoolchildren compete in two types of programs: overcoming the simplified 100-meter obstacle course and climbing the hook ladder to the window of the second floor of the training tower. Winners and prize-winners of the Kazan championship will be awarded in during a solemn closing ceremony of the competition.

Including garbage extinguishing – 12, false alarms – 13, short circuit – 0, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 2 fires: residential sector – 1, construction trailers – 1.

As part of the civil defense month, employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in tests on knowledge of the basics of civil defense. The event was held in order to test the knowledge of EMERCOM employees in the field of basic issues of civil defense, guiding documents, requirements of civil defense legislation and regulations, on the main directions of state policy in the field of civil defense.

Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 13, short circuit – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 5, outhouses – 1. 1 person died.

About 40 city teams and almost 600 young athletes take part in the Kazan championship among boys and girls born in 2005–06 in applied fire sports. Today began preliminary races, which will last for three days. The final stage will be held on October 23. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 9, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 13, other – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 1, garden houses – 1, bathhouses – 1, vehicles – 1.

Employees of the fire service, police together with experts of the executive committee go around emergency houses. Fires and ignitions in empty, semi-residential buildings are far from uncommon. In Zelenodolsk, 46 emergency and apartment buildings to be demolished are planned to be completely disconnected from gas, heat, water, electricity supply and sewage. These measures are explained in the Executive Committee of the Zelenodolsk district by the critical technical condition of the supporting structures and utility systems in emergency houses.

Including garbage extinguishing – 9, false alarms – 21, short circuit – 0, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 2, garden houses – 2, uninhabited buildings – 1, outhouses – 1, bathhouses – 2. 1 person was rescued, 1 person was injured, 1 person died.
