Incidents as of October 3:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 46 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 14, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.

In the Universiade Village, trainings were conducted to work out the interaction of firefighters and the facility’s personnel in extinguishing fire and evacuating people. Also, members of the campus volunteer fire brigade received practical skills in extinguishing a fire. According to the drill plan, a fire occurred in a room on the 3rd floor of the building No. 3. As a result of the fire, three people were cut off from the exit.

In accordance with the training plan, forces and means of civil defense took part in the elimination of a conventional large-scale emergency situation associated with the ignition of a finished goods warehouse on the territory of Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant as a result of an action of a sabotage and reconnaissance group.

October 4 is the Civil Defense Day of the Russian Federation.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: residential sector – 0.

During the briefing devoted to holding a civil defense month in the Republic of Tatarstan, the questions of journalists were answered by the deputy head of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT (for protection, monitoring, prevention of emergency situations) Colonel Ildar Gibadullin and Deputy Minister for Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Stepushchenko.

Control teams continue to work on the implementation of civil defense events (a total of 68 control teams (directions), and general evacuation of the population, material and cultural values to safe areas was organized. All events are held in the form of show classes. In total, during the second stage, practical deployment of 152 civil defense facilities is planned in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires: residential sector – 4, bathhouses – 3, other buildings – 1.

Wotkers of the fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with heads of rural settlements, agricultural enterprises, educational institutions and the population, organized work on mowing weeds, dry grass and cleaning garbage along settlements, objects and private households. In order to prevent dead-wood against igniting in spring, now workers of fire departments clean territories from possible sources of ignition.

The championship was attended by 136 people from 14 teams of physical culture. In the stubborn confrontation, the title of champions was won by firefighters of the 1st squad of the Federal Fire Service. The honorable second place went to footballers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kazan and the team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Naberezhnye Chelny won the bronze.
