Fire departments of SFS of Russia EMERCOM on RT had departures by alarm 32 times. Firefighters of the Republic eliminated 4 fires.

    Due to heavy snowmelt, there was an increase in the water level on the Kiba River, as a result of which 5 household plots along the Cooperative Street in the settlement of Kibyachi of the Pestrecy municipal district were flooded.

    Spring filling continues at the Kuibyshev reservoir. In the past day, water levels within the territory of Tatarstan have increased by 5 – 40 cm.

    During the period from 11 to 12 o'clock on April 16, when monitoring the flood situation, operational groups found that due to an increase in the water level caused by heavy snowmelt, four sections of highways (Vysokogorsk, Mamadysh, Pestrecy) and 59 household plots in Mamadysh, Vysokogorsk, Pestrecy districts were flooded.

    In most parts of the Nizhnekamsk reservoir , an increase in the height of water levels by 3 – 9 cm was observed over the past day .
