In connection with difficult conditions on reservoirs of Republic the Central administrative board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in RТ warns:
To step on THIN ICE very dangerous and driving the car on it is strictly forbidden.
Ice on reservoirs becomes strong only in 10-15 days under condition of constant negative temperature. Fans of ice fishing also are not recommended to step on ice and to fish. Neglecting own safety, forgetting about destinies of the relatives, in a pursuit for fish and thrills you pay off with your lives. You leave your families without support.
Pedestrians also risk their life on ice, who for time reduction use an ice cover as a footpath. Except the danger from fragile ice, this category of persons is psychologically not ready to possibility of falling under ice and does not know struggle elements for their life in such situation.
Navigation for small size vessels is closed only on November, 20th, therefore during this season period it is necessary for navigators to consider developed weather conditions, to have at itself rescue and communication facility devices.

Firefighters of Fire Brigade 125 took up the body of the man, 1970 from water. It was transferred to law enforcement officers. The body of the person has been noticed by man who was passing by. He has called in 01 service. The firemen who have arrived on a scene have laid on thin ice wooden boards, have reached the body, and have pulled out on a surface. There were no witnesses of incident, so it was possible to assume that the man wished to pass on the first thin ice, he has gone from coast on 1,5-2 meters. The ice under him has cracked and he could not get out. The man tried to grasp thin ice, but it was useless. Most likely, the man died from overcooling.

In connection with ice appearance on lake "Pioner" and a mass congestion of fishermen group of inspectors of Nizhnekamsk inspection branch of The Center State Inspection of Small Size Vessels (SISSV) of Russia in RT carried out daily patrol of the lake. 8.11.2009 at 11.30 a.m. Moscow time employees of SISSV have seen two fishermen who have fallen under ice in 25 meters from coast. Men tried to get out, but thin ice under them cracked as a fragile fragment of glass. The senior of group S. Petrov, has tied round a safety rope of 50 meters, two employees of SISSV – A. Kostromin and S. Kirillov - provided the insurance. The inspector has crept up to suffered men, has pulled out on ice. Inspectors have taken off wet clothes from victims, have wrapped them up with warm blankets, have given them to drink hot tea and have brought home because they have refused hospitalization. Victims - Loginov Vladimir, 1965 and Loginov Gennadiy, 1957.
