Both fires were a consequence of insufficient parents attention to their small children.

In Zelenodolsk district in Albaba village the fire has occurred in a private apartment house because of infringement of fire prevention rules at operation of the heating furnace. At the moment of house ignition there was all family: mother 1982 (the owner of the house), her roommate and the son of the owner 2003. In the evening all family was in a room when ceiling, through which took place a flue of the heating furnace has lighted up. Adults have noticed a fire only in several minutes, the smoke has started to fill the house. They have thought that smells from the heating furnace because they have well kindled it. Only when it became already difficult to breathe, having seized the child on hands, the mistress of the house and her roommate have got out through an entrance door on street. The boy had small reddening of a skin, therefore first aid has taken away it for inspection in hospital. As a result of a fire the log house has burnt down completely, nobody has suffered.

In Mendeleyevsk on Soviet Street the fire has occurred in apartment on the 2nd floor because of a childish prank to fire. The five years' child in the evening has been left alone in the house, by mother who is bringing up her son alone. She was on a party. The oldest daughter, the ninth-grader, spent the night at neighbors. Ilya could not fall asleep alone in any way, that’s why he has decided to play with fire. Ilya has found a lighter and has burnt in a room a package with toys. When the package has started to decay, the boy tried to extinguish it with his hand. Then he was frightened and has run out from the apartment to neighbors. The firemen, called by neighbors, came into place in 5 minutes, therefore with fire has been extinguished operatively. In apartment the bedside table, the TV and curtains have been destroyed by the fire. The little originator of the fire with a small burn of a palm has been hospitalized.
