All Forces of EMERCOM of Russia are Ready to Defend the Lives of People during the New Year Celebrations

Today, at All-Russian conference in emergency department there was discussed the issue of readiness of RSChS governing bodies and forces to safety provision of people during the preparation and celebration of New Year. Head of EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Puchkov, in his speech emphasized the systematic and comprehensive implementation of preventive measures to protect life and health of people and provide emergency assistance.

Head of NCUKS, major-general Viktor Yatsutsenko came out with a report on the operational situation in the country.

— In order to provide safety to citizens during New Year and Christmas celebrations, there are more than 63 thousand institutions and more than 2.5 thousand platforms for launching fireworks under control. All forces and means are ready to operate as intended.

Head of HQ EMERCOM of RT (by State Fire Service), colonel of internal service Rafail Motygullin recommended residents of Tatarstan to remember about their safety and the safety of their relatives during the period of the celebrations.
