EMERCOM of Russia to Ensure Fire Safety of New Year Celebration Introduces Enhanced Service Regime

Today, measures of population safety in the period of preparation and celebration of New Year were discussed at All-Russian conference. Head of EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Puchkov in his speech emphasized the systematic and complex conducting of activities aimed at the safety of people’s lives and health and ensuring quick help if it is needed.

During the conference, Head of EMERCOM of Russia ordered to take additional measures for fire prevention, strengthen supervision of people’s life safety requirements, as well as switch the whole staff of the ministry to enhanced service regime, and introduce the most of existing fire equipment to alert.

During the period of Christmas and New Year celebration the fire safety across Russia will be provided everyday by 400 thousand people and 100 thousand units of equipment.
