Saving Fishermen Near Atabayevo Settlement is Going On

As of 15:00 msk 52 fishermen have already been saved to the shore from the detached ice floe near Atabayevo settlement of Laishevsky District. 10 people remain on the floe. Fishermen are conveyed to the shore by “Khivus” hovercraft.

At 13:23 msk EMERCOM of Russia’s MI-8 helicopter left Kazan to the scene with 4 rescuers of Kazan search and rescue squad. Also, a task force of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan left to the scene with a mobile control station.
