Deteriorating Weather Conditions are Expected in the Republic. Recommendations to drivers, skippers and the population of Tatarstan

On November, 21 Crisis Management Center of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan received a consultation – warning about the intensity of weather phenomena from 18 o’clock of November 21 until 10 o’clock of November 22, 2014 from FGBU “Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan” with the following content: “Fog with the visibility less than 500 meters is expected at night and in the morning of November 22 in the city of Kazan”. In case of deteriorating weather conditions (reducing visibility), the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan recommends:

owners of small vessels to refrain from leaving on their floating facilities without a special reason, take into account weather conditions, always carry means of rescuing, serviceable means of communication, navigation devices, not to fish alone;

drivers to refrain from traveling behind their inhabited locality unless it is absolutely necessary, to be careful on roads, to keep safe distance, high-speed mode according to weather conditions. It is necessary to avoid a disorderly and abrupt braking maneuver and strictly follow the instructions of traffic signs, traffic police requirements and guidelines of traffic police service.
