Emergency Situation Was Worked Out at Nizhnekamskaia HPP

Last Thursday, there were held fire tactical trainings at Nizhnekamskaia HPP in Naberezhnye Chelny. According to the legend, there was a depressurization of an expansion tank of transformer block number 1 in the HPP. As a result, there was some oil spilling, short circuit and the spilled oil began burning.

The first detachment of FD-18 duty arrived to the scene in 8 minutes. Quickly, after them firefighters of FD-72, FD-55, FD-56 – 2 detachments, FD-54 – 1 detachment arrived after them. In 38 minutes the conditional fire was localized. 3 barrels were served to extinguish the fire. Actions of the departments participated in the fire tactical trainings were rated “satisfactory”.
