Operation “Zhilische-2014”: Zelenodolsk Firefighters Make the Round of “Problem” Addresses

Employees of the 8th squad of FFS for the Republic of Tatarstan and department of supervision for Zelenodolsky Municipal District hold raids over the residential sector of the city and the district. Inspectors talk to homeowners about keeping fire safety rules during furnace use. Primarily, attention is paid to electric facilities, presence of heaters and furnace installation. In the most of cases fires appear in homes of citizens of so-called “risk group” – poor people and disadvantaged families. Such raids have been being held by Zelenodolsk employees throughout the year. The main result of the work is reducing the number of fires on the territory of Zelenodolsky Municipal District to 5%.
