Keep Rules of Fire Safety While Using Automobiles

To prevent fires on vehicles it is necessary to keep the following rules of fire safety:

- each automobile must have serviceable extinguisher (carbon dioxide, dry powder). Engine compartment of an automobile may be additionally furnished with an extinguishing plant (water, foam, aerosol);

- vehicles intended for the carriage of passengers or specially furnished for such purpose must be equipped by two extinguishers (carbon dioxide or dry powder);

- vehicles intended for the carriage of passengers must be equipped by emergency exits and appropriate warning signs;

- automobiles with pneumatic brake systems must be placed in a store room only with serviceable pneumatic brake system that provides an opportunity of quick evacuation in case of fire;

- avoid congestion of dirt and oil on the engine and its crankcase;

- do not leave used cleaning materials in the cockpit and on the engine;

- do not use a car with faulty equipment power system;

- do not supply gasoline to the carburetor directly from a capacity through a hose or other means when the fuel system is faulty.
