No Injuries at Gunpowder Factory As Result of Incident

An incident on the territory of FKP “Kazan State breech powder plant” in a two-story brick building by the address Kazan, Kirovsky District, 1st May St., 14 was reported. A task group of HQ EMERCOM of RF for RT and a detachment of Special Department number 35 of the Federal Fire Service of EMERCOM of Russia (for the protection of restricted objects) went out to the scene. The first and second floors of the separately located building on the area of 300 sq. meters were partially ruined.

No fatalities and injuries. No danger to the public. The technological process was not interrupted; the production facilities operate in full. Causes of the incident and the damage are being analyzed by a created commission.
