Final Stage of 35th Republican Competitions among Gas and Smoke Protection Service Units Came to End

Republican competitions among gas and smoke protection service units were held in Naberezhnye Chelny on the territory of fire department №55. They are dedicated to the memory of firefighters died in the line of duty. Their purpose is to determine gas and smoke protection service units’ degree of professional training and formation of coherent and clear actions between firefighters being a part of a crew. The competitions were attended by 29 teams and were divided into two parts – theoretical and practical.

The first and the second place were taken by teams of 15th squad from Naberezhnye Chelny respectively FD-55 and FD-54, and the team of OFPS-7 for RT from Kazan took the third place. The team that won the first place was awarded a cup and a diploma, other winners got diplomas. Awards were held by deputy chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafail Motygullin.
