Incidents for September 8:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 5 of them in residential sector. 20 persons were rescued.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 2, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, incorrect installation and defect in heating stove and chimney – 2, arson – 2, carelessness when smoking – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 18 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 12 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, traffic accident – 1, search operation on the water – 1, lesson with students of educational institutions – 3, others – 3.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
