GIMS Inspectors and Volunteers Will Clean 8 Thousand Meters of Shoreline in Frame of All-Russian Action “Clean Coast”

Today, GIMS inspectors and students of fifth-year students of the Department “Industrial and Environmental Safety” of KNITU-KAI purified the coast territory of Kazanka River not far from Millennium Bridge from the effects of summer vacation. The large-scale action “Clean Coast” initiated by EMERCOM of Russia is carried out all over the country in early September. Today the action will be carried out not only in Kazan, but in Chistopol, Mamadysh, Yelabuga, Zainsk, Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, too. 33 GIMS inspectors, representatives of OSVOD, municipal institutions, volunteers will be involved in shoreline cleaning; totally 300 people expected to attend.
