Another 210 People from Ukraine Arrived to Kazan Today

The most large-scale group of IDPs from the South-East of Ukraine in the amount of 210 people arrived to Kazan from Rostov region by train, today. Employees of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the city administration, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Health of RT met citizens of Ukraine at the railway station Kazan-1.

Among the refugees there are 68 children, including breast ones. There are elderly people, some of them barely moved on their own. Officers helped carrying baggage, women psychologists took the children. The people had to go through the registration process and the medical examination.

Now, there are 684 people in six temporary settlements on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. The total number of IDPs in the country, taking into account those who live with relatives, exceeded two thousand people.
