Useful Holiday at Water

Today, rescuers and OSVOD workers of Kazan held a masterclass on rescuing a drowning out of the water and first aid provision for holidaymakers on “Nizhnee Zarechye” beach.

That sunny summer day there was many people on the beach. Many of them jumped off their places when they heard cries for help, and gathered on the shore near rescuers. That time OSVOD workers that were on duty immediately sailed on a rowboat from the coast to the aid of a drowning. Rescuers of search and rescue squad of Civil Defense Department of Kazan rushed on the water to the scene by a motorboat. All means of first aid provision to a conditional drowning were practically shown by 1st class professional rescuer of PSO of Civil Defense Department of Kazan, Andrey Kiselyov. In conclusion of the lesson, the rescuers gave the holidaymakers topical brochures of EMERCOM called “Little Encyclopedia of Safety for Population”.
