Three Athletes From Tatarstan Formed Part of Russian National Team and Won Prizes at World Championship on Fire-Applied Sports

In July, the city of Svitavy (Czech Republic) hosted international competitions on Fire and Rescue Sport: V World Championship among youth, World Championship among Women and III World Championship of national youth teams. They were attended by representatives of Belarus, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, South Korea. During 7 days, athletes from 12 countries of the world competed in hook ladder climbing, overcoming 100-meter obstacle course, fire relay, as well as combat deployment. Russian Federation was represented by the team of EMERCOM of Russia at the event. Within the framework of the competitions in the disciplines of fire-rescue sport girls and women competed for the first time.

Ibragimov Kamil was the best in climbing up to the second floor of the training tower and won the honorable 1st place, he also excelled in overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course and became the proud owner of a bronze medal. Abduhalikov Arthur took the third prize place in climbing hook ladder to the window of the training tower.

Vladislava Ivanova (elder group) from Ulyanovsk won a gold medal of the world championship in climbing hook ladder with the result of 7.69 seconds and Angelina Myakisheva from Tatarstan, which consisted in a quartet of girls in the fire relay, brought home a silver medal.

As a result of persistent struggle the national team of Russian Federation won 34 gold, 21 silver and 38 bronze medals. Boys in the team event took the second place, giving a place, unfortunately, the team from Belarus, but Russian athletes took the first place for the most gold medals. During the competitions the athletes of the Russian Federation team set 6 new world records.

Head of EMERCOM of Russia, Vladimir Puchkov, later solemnly met with the athletes who took part in the Championship and congratulated with such a significant victory. He expressed special thanks to coaching staff team, to which also entered a coach from Tatarstan, deputy chief of FD-6 of Kazan, Ayrat Sharifzyanov.
