Kazan Will Host Large-Scale Training in Subway

Forces of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan in conjunction with the management bodies and the forces of the functional and territorial subsystems of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan on the night of July 29 to 30, carried out a large-scale training on actions in liquidation of emergency situations of inter-regional and federal character. In this case, forces of EMERCOM and territorial subsystems of RSChS work out training of liquidation of an emergency situation that occurred in Kazan metro line between the stations "Ometevo" and "Cloth Sloboda". The trainings will not affect the work of the underground, as it will be carried out after the end of the movement.

According to the legend of the trainings, there was a derailment of the leading car and two passenger cars of the electric train as a result of violating the integrity of the railroad tracks. Due to the accident there was a short circuit in the electrical network with the following burning of the engine of the leading car. There are victims. The liquidation of the aftermath of training emergency situation involved 212 people and 43 units of equipment, including 152 people and 27 units of equipment from EMERCOM.
