Visiting Firefighters

A real friendship has developed between firefighters of the first detachment of Federal Fire Service and pupils of Nizhnekamsk special boarding school "Nadezhda". The children of this center are always welcome in any department of the detachment. On July 15, more than twenty kids from 9 to 12 years visit with a tour fire department number 57, that guards against fire and accidents such objects as truck tire plant, carbon black plant.

Children tried uniforms on, and even waged a competition among themselves for time. The winner of this contest was Sergei Titov from Aksubaevsky district. They tested their strength in sports room by lifting dumbbells available to them, and twelve year old Ramil Akhmetzyanov proved his skill in pulling up on the bar as much as seven times.

Head of the department, Khrenov Mikhail, commented: "We hold Open Day regularly, especially for kids to understand how our work is honorable and prestigious; it's a big responsibility to protect lives of people."
