Masterclass from MES - Rescue on Water

Today, search and rescue team rescuers of Civil Protection Management of Kazan City held a masterclass of rescuing on water under preventive action "Sport Life 2014”. This event is traditionally held in children camps of the city of Kazan during the summer vacation. There are totally 14 children camps in the program. Today, action participants visited 3 municipal camps.

Children and adolescents were expecting three practical grounds. Psychologists who conducted a preventive training were located at the first one, ambulance paramedics taught children providing first aid themselves and their neighbor, on the third ground the children met Kazan PSO UGZ rescuers. The MES employees introduced the campers rules of conduct on the water.

"The first rule of being on water – the ability to swim, - said Kazan PSO UGZ first class rescuer Oleg Sergeev. - Remember children, you can be near the water just with you parents. Swimming is also allowed with adults, but do not swim into depth." Those who wished worked out in life-buoy throwing in the practical part of the masterclass.

"Sport Life" preventive action, that was launched today, will be completed in August.
