No Casualties During Smoke Formation on Synthetic Caoutchouc Plant in Nizhnekamsk

23.06.2014, at 10.54 (MSK) a strong smoke without fire (due to the small amount of the substance) in a caoutchouc plant in Nizhnekamsk during a repair work was reported to ODS CUKS. That was the result of violation of the technological process at which catalyst complex plug was left open, and it caused a chemical reaction inside the triisobutylaluminum (less than 3 liters) with air. OFPS-1 forces and means were sent on a call number 3.

No open fire. No risk of fire. OFPS-1 fire techniques that arrived to the scene in the amount 3 vehicles did not shoot water and foam. Smoke continued for 15 minutes. The plant is operating normally. No dead and injured.
