All rescue departments of production association "Kazanorgsintez" worked "excellent"

Today, special tactical trainings on actions of standby forces, non-regular emergency-response teams, staff and radiation and chemical protection team of "Kazanorgsintez" were successfully held on the territory of production association "Kazanorgsintez". Trainings unfolded on the most possible worst-case disaster, which can occur on such chemically hazardous facilities. The legend of the trainings was complicated to test the readiness of all staff and non-regular rescue units of the manufacturing facility to perform assigned tasks.

Firstly, it was necessary to neutralize the terrorist. Search group and employees of the private security company "Kennard" engaged in detention of the saboteur. After that it was necessary to urgently eliminate leakage of ethylene oxide out of a tank. Actions of non-regular rescue units were commented by the emcee, and everything that was going on at the training site was watched by the whole committee consisting of the chief plant engineer, a representative of Rostechnadzor RT and deputy chief of the Headquarters of MES RF on RT, colonel Andrei Orlov, and about thirty dispatchers who came to the trainings from all chemically hazardous objects of Kazan.

Also, fire departments of OFPS-5 of the Republic of Tatarstan that protect the plant arrived to the emergency place. Firefighters got the mission on precipitating the clouds and neutralizing of ethylene oxide. Simultaneously teams of exploring, pesthole disinfection, communications  repair and containers decontamination of radiochemical security command started conducting works.

Today, more than 150 people of rescue units of the plant and 20 technical units participated in the trainings. All non-regular and regular departments coped with the tasks and as the management of the plant claims, it will continue to work harder to improve the performance and to reduce the response time in case of an emergency.
