Characteristic incidents for the last day

Incidents for May, 29:

Fire departments of FFS of MD of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 99 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 19, dry grass extinguishing – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 4 of them in the residential sector. 1 person was injured.

The causes of fires are: careless handling of fire – 3, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, violation of heating stove use rules – 1, childish prank – 1, ascertain – 3.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 24 times. 14 persons were rescued. 

Missions of VFD units on fire fighting – 5 times.

Missions of SAR units of MES of RT – 6 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, others – 3.

Main Department of MES of Russia on RT warns:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
