Preparation to bathing season in the Republic of Tatarstan goes at full speed

Today, preparedness of the territorial subsystem of emergency management of the Republic of Tatarstan to engaging measures of providing civil safety on waters of the Republic of Tatarstan and prevention of people from death during the bathing season was discussed in Ministry of RT on the conference of Emergency management and fire safety committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Chief inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels, Ilham Nasybullin, told about the last bathing season results and about measures and activities development in preparing for the upcoming period.

Annual analysis shows that the main causes of death on water are: swimming while intoxicated and in unequipped places, personal indiscipline and arrogance, lack of supervision by parents for their children, inability to swim.

According to Ilham Nasybullin, the main result of the purposeful work on the preparation of students of secondary schools must become the ability of students to swim, knowing the rules of safe behavior on water, and as for high school and university students - gaining skills of rendering first aid, rescue and self-rescue.
