Young firemen squad competitions in Nizhnekamsk city

In order to gain fire-technical skills, develop agility and courage in the younger generation when fighting fires, department of oversight on Nizhnekamsk municipal district of RT jointly with Tatarstan republican department of All-Russian VFD, Center for fire propaganda and public relations held young firemen squad competitions among 8th grade pupils of educational institutions of Nizhnekamsk municipal district.

Teams of 28 schools of the city and 4 schools of the district took part in the competitions.

Relays consisted of 4 steps each 100 m:

- 1 step – running obstacles over a fence;

- 2 step – report on fire via phone;

- 3 step – watering from the fire engine to the point of combustion;

- 4 step – putting on the battle clothes and fighting a fire by a  hand-extinguisher.

In total results the next schools took prizes:

- 1 place - secondary school №1 of pgt Kamskiye Polyany – awarded with a challenge cup, medals, charters, diplomas and money;

- 2 place - secondary school №2 of pgt Kamskiye Polyany – awarded with medals, charters, diplomas and money;

- 3 place – gymnasium №22 – awarded with medals, charters, diplomas and money.
