Help will arrive in time

This year all the localities of the Republic of Tatarstan will be under reliable protection of fire organizations. That was reported by chairman of public organization “Volunteer fire protection of RT” Alik Nazmutdinov on the briefing dedicated to the summing-up of the activities on fire regime and developing volunteer fire safety.

According to him, only 17 localities that cannot be reached by fire departments to extinguish fires (deviation of the 20min. arrival requirement) remain in the republic at the moment. Such localities are located in 8 municipal districts. To provide the villages with fire safety, 5 detachments of Volunteer fire protection must be created. “During this year, missing units will be created”, said chairman of public organization “Volunteer fire protection of RT”.

Besides, the media representatives provided information on the outcome of the special fire-fighting regime process on the territory of the republic. It was announced by head of administrative practice department of Oversight activities management of Main Department of MES of Russia on Republic of Tatarstan, colonel of the internal service Ildar Khanipov.

He reported, during the period of 2014 on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan there happened 1228 fire that 1.05% less than the similar period of the last year (1241 fire). 88 dead people were found in the fires (4.35% less than the similar period of the last year(92)), including 1 child (83.33% less than the similar period of the last year(6)), 87 persons got injured (17.14% less than the similar period of the last year(105)).
