Whole alley of chestnut and hazel from Zelenodolsk firemen

On May, 17, there was held a large-scale action – All-Russian forest planting day. Many social organizations held activities on involving the society in the problems of the planet’s lungs. The employees of the 8th federal fire service did not remain aloof, too. The firemen decorated the streets of Zelenodolsk with tree and bush seedlings. Thus, they planted young chestnuts and hazels on a street in the name of Vali Khaziev, a veteran and a hero of the war.

The employees of the 8th federal fire service take the most active part in such events every year. More than a hundred tree seedlings were planted by Zelenodolsk firemen last year in April. Also, between September, 28 and November, 16, during the period of “green descent” the firemen of the 53rd detachment decorated at once a few streets of Zelenodolsk with tree and bush seedlings.

That campaigns on planting trees were not the last. Public events on greening the city’s streets and parks are going to be planned in the future.
