Not let upcoming summer wildfires occur – objective of foresters and MES of Tatarstan employees

“Unsafe handling of fire made dry reeds burn. From deadwood the fire jumped to the forest, then to “Lesnoye” dacha cooperative that was located among pines”. That was the idea of command-post trainings on elimination of emergency situation consequences connected with wildfires on the territory of Laishevo areal forestry of Laishevo municipal region. Not only Ministry of Forestry of RT forces and means were involved in the trainings, but RT FFS detachments also.

All actions took place on a shore of Kama river before a large audience of foresters. A live panorama appeared before the participants. It included gardeners’ association, forest and a residential village, but in miniature.

More than a hundred forestry employees from all around the republic arrived to Laishevo region for the practical lesson on fighting wildfires. The participants were greeted by the minister of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Magdeev. He told the present people that “to make through the period of wildfires we ought to prepare for the worst”.

The head of firefighting and rescuing service of MD MES RF on the Republic of Tatarstan, Konstantin Chanyshev, gave the positive evaluation.
